About Li Baoyou

The author Li Baoyou is the Director of the Li Baoyou Chinese Medicine Center, Denmark, and an executive member of the council of World Academic Society of Medical Qigong.

Li Baoyou is also an Emeritus Professor and an expert in the overseas medical exchange program at the Ningxia Medical University. Professor Li Baoyou still delivers lectures and teaches online courses at the Ningxia Medical University from time to time.

Professor Li’s entire life is centered on the use, development, and research on Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Professor Li learned Taoist culture and the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine from an early age and became famous in China in the 1990s for his remarkable healing abilities. In addition to his great medical skills, many of his health inventions and methods such as his signature Bigu, Fuqi training method, Shenqi Xinxi Qigong, and so on have made important contributions to both the health profession and public.

After he settled in Denmark in 2000, he started researching European medicine. His remarkable medical skills have also been acknowledged and appreciated by the local people, and several of his achievements in treating people have been featured in national newspapers in Denmark.

With the best intentions at heart and hoping to benefit people and society as much as possible, the author now shares the essential knowledge of Bigu by publishing this book in English for the first time.
